Thank you for that info. I was so dead last night, I just couldn't anyway! LOL. This is a nightmare, it'll probably be a crappy egg anyway, I swear. 32 seems young, but my doctor makes me feel like I'm 99!!!!

I showed that I hit peak today on my monitor, so we will see. I have always watched your posts and things. I hate that AF came, sucks major.......I will send a prayer up for you from Tennessee hon!

Thank you ;)

My Dr. says it's better to BD every other night anyways.  It give your DH's sperm time to get more potent...

I have never used those monitors but from what I know about ovulation by using natural family planning/ovulation method for the last 11 years I think you are definitely doing the right thing.  And, I would even do it again tonight!!  Sperm has been documented to be able to live for up to 4-5 days.  If there is sperm living in there prior to your peak you can actually increase your chances of having a girl.  Because the female sperm can live longer than the male.  The males are faster swimmers and need peak conditions to do better.

You probably already know all of this but when your cervical mucus gets very clear and stretchy that is a fertile time.  Soon after you ovulate it starts turning thick again until finally it goes away  or just looks dry and crusty (sorry to be gross) before you have a period.  And when you are fertile that fertile mucus will form a ferning pattern when placed thinly on a butter knife.  I have never done that... but I read it in a medical physiology book when I was in school.  But, I do have a pocket microscope that I can put saliva on and it does have a ferning pattern close to ovulation.
