I just finished my first round of clomid 3to7 but did not have any side effects like nausea and dizzines. does that mean clomid isn't working for me? help! :(
How are you doing on injectables now? Does it help, are you O?
Hi, I was on Clomid 2 rounds and didn't respond, no O. I went to fertility clinic and am on Metformin ( a different drug from Clomid). if this one wound't work, then I will move to injectables. Some people don't respond to Clomid and only injectables...
Hope this helps!
Anya.
After four months of Clomid, I have moved onto injectables with IUI.
I did clomid and IUI (artificial insemination) three times, with no luck. I then had a laparoscopy to check for blocked tubes and scar tissue. I didn't have any problems, so now I'm starting injectibles (Follistim) plus IUI. If that doesn't work, then it would be IVF, but I can't afford that! :(

After 4 mths on clomid our RE suggested IVF. That was probably due to my age though. No time to waste. We also tried acupunture with our first cycle which did not work. Loved the acupunture. Made me feel really relaxed.
Good Luck!

thanks for all the great advice.
hi yes i have had all that done. and my husband as well as been tested. what is an IUI and what does it do?
After 6 months of Clomid at first obgyn suggested clomid + IUI, but then he just sent me to a fertility clinic. So now I'm doing Injections+IUI. My clinic told me that some people just don't respond on Clomid. Maybe that was my case, I would produce only 1 follicle per month. On injections I produce much more.
I have heard that many people are successful on Femara that were not on Chlomid, I would ask my RE to try Femara.
adm is right also, I have heard many good things about accupuncture too!!
Good luck to you!!! SSBD!
I HAVE DONE RESEARCH ON ACUPUNTURE AND HELPING INFERTILITY. I AM GOING TO TRY IT NEXT MONTH IF I AM NOT PREGNANT. GOOD LUCK.
Hi, after 4 months of clomid the RE suggested IUI so that is where i am at. did you have your b/w done and your husband tested, HSG, etc? I start in Feb, med free this month as period came before my insurance was approved ;( GOOD LUCK!
