Any sugestions please ladies ???? I am 7 weeks pregnant and have been feeling sick for days now , but havent actually been sick ,, ,, I dont feel hungry because i feel sick ,but when i do eat the sickness fades ? Is this normal when your expecting twins , and shud i make myself eat a little every few hours to stop the sickness feeling ??? any comments welcome please ...
When I had that problem I was told to eat plain crackers with salt on them , something with the salt is supposto help. Its worth a shot, also mint tea is good for your belly, you can buy ginger ale that has real ginger in it ( they dont all have ginger) just flaten the soda to get all the bubbles out by stirring it with a spoon. Flat soda will not have any bubbles in it to upset ur belly. good luck
Good luck with your pregnancy! I had the same symptoms as you do when I was 6 weeks pregnant with my daughter. Not to scare you, but a few days after my symptoms started, I got morning sickness with a vengeance, and couldn't keep anything down. I was diagnosed with Hyperemesis
(severe, debilitating nausea and vomiting). The good news is, my daughter was born healthy and is unusually healthy 5 years later. Whatever you need to do, you will make it through.
Foods that worked for me: mac and cheese, watermelon, cheese and crackers, edamame, any non-acidic fruit, potatoes--mashed, boiled, or baked.
If the morning sickness becomes debilitating, ask for Zofran (a chemotherapy relief drug). I used it from week 7 on, with no ill effects to my daughter. My OB/GYN also used it during her pregnancies.
and will deffinately try some of your remedies hopefully this will work out for me ? Have been drinking ginger tea for a couple of days so will just have to wait and see ...Thank you once again Ladies xx
I'm so sorry you have felt so sick, I'm a nurse and have worked in OB/GYN for years, the one thing you can do along with the crackers, is trying anything with giner. Ginger Ale is a good thing that usually helps and also ask your doctor about phenergran. It's a antienemic drug that doesn't hurt the baby, and decreases the nausea and vomitting. But it will make you drowsy. It just depends on how bad you feel. Talk to your physician.
