any clomid users please help

Just kind of curious when you ovulated when you were on clomid this is my
first cycle and i took it day 3-7 and im on day 9 now just curious when i should
start opking i know i can't until day 10 or i will get a false positive. And is it true
that you should wait until day 35 to expect period

Without clomid I O around cd13-14.  On clomid I O'd around cd 15-16.  Also, my LP was longer and cycles were much longer than normally.  

This is what I found on line about OPK and clomid:

Q: Does Clomid cause problems with OPKs?

A: Clomid (Serophene/clomiphene citrate) can cause a false positive in OPKs if taken too soon after finishing the prescription. According to most of the manufacturers you should wait at least 3 days before using an OPK. If you take Clomid days 3-7 you can begin testing on day 10. If you take it 5-9, you should wait until day 12.

Usually you start OPKing on CD10 - CD15. I OPKing on CD10-CD17.  I bought a package 7 sticks.   Usually its give you fault result on CD10, but you can check when you ovulate is when your CM feels like EWCM, you are ovulate.  I don't depend on OPK much.  It's always give me fault result.  I pay attend to my CM.

I got a false positive on day 10 when I took clomid.  So I would defintely wait a little while.  Are you getting sono's too?  If so I would just do that.

Like Helen w/o clomid I O around day 13-14 and w/ it is usually on 15-16... Also, my AF did come later my cycle usually ends now about day 32 w/ clomid and it used to only be around 28 days so I guess it can make your cycle longer...

My cycle the first month on clomid was 28 days and the second month was 32...This month without the clomid it should be 32.  I guess it depends on the person.

When I was on Clomid my cycles were very regular.  I always got a positive OPK on CD16, and my period always started on the exact same date of the month.  Let say it started on 24th in Dec, then it would start on the 24th in Jan.  This would go on for 4 months then shift a day fo the next 3-4 months.
Now that I'm on injections It has become somewhat iregular and difficult to predict when AF should be arriving, which is very frustrating bec you get you hopes up for nothing while you wait.

I took clomid on CD 5-9 and got a peak with my fertility monitor on CD's 12 and 13.... This was my first cycle on clomid too. I was told that AF should show between CD 28 and 34.... Good luck!!

I have just started taking clomid CD 2 - 7 and I have been using a fertility monitor, a lot of women said they didn't get a peak day whilst on clomid, did you? I have still continued using mine this month as I probably won't use clomid next month. Anyone else shown peak days whilst on clomid?

i was diagnosed with pcos and was prescribed clomid. the first two months on it was no ovulation. I added metformin 500g twice a day the third month and i ovulated. i think clomid works better with met. good luck and baby dust to us all.

What is metformin? My best friend has PCOS she was on 100mg clomid and is ow pregnant with twins, so it does work.
