anyone know how long donar sperm stays alive after iui is done

im having iui today and i dont feel like i have ov yet,and we are using donar sperm,i am worried my egg wont be there in time,i did have the hcg shot and they are wanting to do the iui at 30 hrs after hcg,i hope thats not to early,so could someone tell me how long the donar sperm will live.

5 days is most likely given the right conditions..

sperm for IUI has to be washed. washed sperm lives up to 18 hours after insemination. I have had 3 IUIs done and I ovulated about 34-36 hours after the HCg you want the IUI BEFORE you ovulate so the sperm is there waiting for the egg.. good luck to you

the stupid sperm bank sent the sperm ready for ici instead of iui,so now i guess my chances are lower,i did end up ov about 3 hours after the ici i hope it stil works,i know frozen semen does not stay alive as long as fresh but im not sure how long.
