My daughter is 33 years old and her husband was tested and found out that he has poor mobility, morphology. They have been trying for 10 months and finally found out why nothing was happening. They are now seeing a fertility doctor who started her out on clomid last week and went in this week and only had 1 follicle
and she went back today and it only increased to 5.5. She is very upset and now has to go back tomorrow because she should be ovulating and if her lining does not increase to atleast a 7 they won't do the insemination this round. Has anyone had these issues or have any words of encouragment for me to give her. I know it is still early in the process but as you all know it is devastating news to get.
I'm sorry you're daughter is having to go through all this. If her IUI is cancelled this month due to thin lining, I would guess her doctor would either a) put her on an estrogen
supplement starting earlier in the cycle next month, or b) try a different medication, as clomid is known for causing a thin lining in some women. She might want to ask her doctor about femara instead. Like clomid, it's just a pill she would take for five days in the beginning of her cycle, but for most women it has less side effects. Good luck!
