aygestin

My doc put me on Aygestin to regulate my periods, but I stopped taking it in June. It's October and since I stopped taking it, I have not ovulated, and I used to ovulate monthly. My cycles range from 23 to 26 days, will I ever get back to normal ovulation, is it possible the Aygestin is still in my system and how long should it take to get back to normal again?

It didn't give me nausea, in fact, I didn't get any side effects at all; except that I am more irregular now, than when I started taking it. Good luck to you!

I am taking it for 10 days (5 days today) and my doctor gave it to me for my cysts so I can start another medicated cycle and I actually had a positive opk 5 days ago so I am hoping that it didn't interfere with ovulation or implantation. PS did it give you nausea?

It is used for irregular bleeding, endometriosis, birth control, and various other problems. I used to be able to tell every time I ovulated, the signs were very obvious, now all the signs are saying that I am not. I was just hoping to get some information before I return to the doc again.

I am not sure how to answer your question, but I am curious.  I have never heard of that medication.  Is it used for people with PCOS to regulate cycles?
