... i have asked my doctor if i can take baby asprin... and he said its up to me... and wouldent give me an answer,,, what do i do... when would i start taking it... i so want this to work.. this is my last chance.... ive also heard that royal jelly helps egg quality and implantation... also blood tests apa/and ana can determine if ur antibodies are raised this can stop implantation and can be resolved by taking baby asprin and heprin.... great website for natural remidies and about royal jelly capsules is www.natural fertility info.com
please advise me on baby asprin... and anyother success stories... thank u xx
Ive been on baby asprin since October, I take one pill everyday and even when Ive been preggo I still take one a day, thats what my RE has told me...I believe you can start the baby asprin anytime and I was told it starts working pretty much right away.
every day for clotting disorder although I stopped it prior to retrival because they were worried about excessive bleeding.
In Nats case if Dr is not prescribing it....i would wait until after transfer.
I agree with Kricket212. Regardless of what anyone else is doing, your doctor knows your body and where you are with everything and his advice is the best to follow for sure! We are all different.
my dr insists on baby aspirin as well and i started day after transfer. I also have thryoid and ANA antibodies and was put on prednisone for that which i started 2 weeks before retrieval. I had my first IVF end of May and am currently almost 6 weeks pregnant after 2 failed IUI's and trying to conceive naturally for about 16 months prior to seeing an RE (i have secondary infertility - got pregnant very easily with my son who is almost 3). i had an Ultrasound on tuesday that showed 1 embryo measuring right on target. It's still early for me but the IVF did work...i would definitely get antibody blood tests so that you cover all your bases if you have a feeling you have antibodies.
I asked my doctor about baby aspirin and he said that unless you have a history of miscarriages, you shouldn't take it. He said if there isn't a problem, it could thin things out too much and make implantation more difficult. So I guess it depends on your history.
Its weird how much different opinions different doctors have. Mine said it wouldnt hurt me to take the asprin whether I needed it or not..and Ive had tests done and have no antibodies or and implantation problems but for some reason Ive miscarried my last 2, when my test came back negative for all of that I asked if I should continue to take it and was told yes. it wont hurt me..
Ditto. Docs all seem to have different opinions. Mine started me on aspirin at start of IVF after 4 failed IUIs. Said it would increase blood flow and help with implant initially. Worked for me. Got my BFP today with a 600 beta.
