back from surgery

back from surgery

I had surgery yesturday I had a Lap and a Hystoroscipey done and they found that my endometrieosis has moved from the out side of my utrus to the inside and its shaped my utrus like a heart. And that there is alot of scar tissue in there. He tried to cut it out but he said my utrus is so soft he was afraid that he would cut threw it so he didnt get it all out. He also sayd one of my overies is covered with vecrose veins. He sayd its a sighn of dissease, that my utrus is supposed to be firm like a muscle not soft. But the only way to know for sure is to do a hysterectamy HECK NO!! not only will that make it impossible for me to ever concieve (conceive) that would take my woman hood away :(..   He sayd even tho it sounds really bad  Its still possible for me to concieve (conceive) but its going to be that much more harder and it depends on how agressive we want to go which in my mind hes saying IVF .. This breakes my heart because there is no way i can afford IVF. Me and my husband both work full time jobs and were going to build a house this year so all our money is going toward that.. I wish there was someone out there who would help us.. Celeberties spend  ten grand on one outfit they only wear once and i cant even come up with that much money for a baby.. Its just one more obstical after another, i dont know how much more bad news i can take. after spending so much on fertility treatments with no luck then later finding out it was all for no good, im inbetween a rock and a hard spot..  So im not going to be taking fertility drugs anymore so this is probabally my last post on this sight  thank you for everyone who has been supportive sorry i didnt post verry often  and good luck to all of you....... did you check to see what your insurance will cover?  i know it might be very small but it would be something.

I am so very sorry about endo and scar tissue.  I have a problem with scar tissue myself since it covers my ovaries.  We had to do ivf.  Although endo does not grow back for at least a year, scar tissue comes back within weeks.  My dr told me that ivf is basically our only option.  I know that ivf is expensive but if you spread out your expenditures it helps.  Also, check what your insurance covers.  If it at least covers the drugs, that's almost 50% of the cost!  Also, my insurance does not cover ANYTHING related to infertility treatments but they did pay for my b/w and u/s visits which helped a little.

I am so sorry you have to struggle to afford your medical bills since infertility is already a big struggle.  I wish our medical system was better...
