bathroom after BD

Hi Ladies....
Question for all, I usually stay in bed for at least an hour after BD and go pee.  After I wipe, I see some sperms come out.  I am just horrified that there will be none left to fertilize the E.  Is that normal?

I wouldn't worry about it. My doc says that everything "gets where it needs to be" in about 20 minutes, and that they stuff that comes out is just semen (the vehicle that sperm travels in!:).  In fact, many books I have read suggest actually pushing out the extra semen after about an hour, so that you don't get it confused with CM...

I hear ya!  I was really starting to get worried myself!  I was starting to think, well maybe that's the problem, nothing ever gets in!  I try to lay still for at least 10 - 20 minutes after, I've even heard that putting your legs up in the air helps, but who know if that's a myth or not!  It really helps to have people to talk to about this stuff!

I hate that when they try to run out too! I keep saying to my hubby "They are trying to jump ship!". I have also found that I have to lay in bed at least an hour with a pillow under me and prop myself up where nothing comes out. After about an hour, nothing comes out when I stand up. Seems to be all stuck in there by then :)

I agree with the peeing before you get busy comment. And just lay there with a pillow under your butt for a while. Even if some get out, there is plenty still running for that egg!!

lol..it's normal.  Funny you bring this up cause when my hubby and i first started trying I thought there was something blocking the sperm from getting anywhere but out..It's like it would just come right out if I moved.  I thought something was wrong with me.  I actually got the nerve up to talk to some of my friends about it and it is totally normal.  Have you tried lying in bed all night??  Try using the restroom before  so that afterwards you can just ly there and go to sleep.  Then the next morning you can get up and take a shower and all that good stuff...You wil see there will be less come out...Hope that helped..Good luck
