bb after hcg trigger shot

I did trigger shot last Thurs. night and we bb Fri night, Sat. morn and Sun. morn; from reading the post, it seems we were supposed to do it the night of the shot also. Did I mess up?

I have had a trigger shot four times, here is my understanding. You should ovulate 12-24 hours after the trigger shot. Usually, your most fertile time is the day that you ovulate, and three days before that. The egg only lives for 24 hours, so usually bd'ing after ovulation wont allow the sperm enough time to get to it. But if you took the trigger Thursday night it is very very likely that you did not ovulate until Friday night, so your Friday night bd'ing probably did the trick. Dont worry about it too much, hopefully this will be your month, but if not I would ask your OB/RE about bd'ing a little earlier. It sounds like you are right on track with me, I am 4 DPO today, we can get through this stressful TWW together!

Thank you for you answer and thoughts; hopefully Friday did it. 2 weeks seems like such a long wait for something so huge. How are you holding up?
