bed rest

Tomorrow is my ivf transfer day. I would like your opinion on whether it's better to have bed rest or just carry on like usual after transfer. I'm really conflicted on which to do. Please help!

Hi there,
I will advise you to take things lightly and let nature take its own course. There is no need of complete bed rest.IVF transfer is just like natural conception where the woman continues to lead a normal life after conceiving. You may avoid strenuous activities at home for 48 hours after the embryo transfer, after which you may resume work. It is best to discuss your concerns with your treating doctor since he/she knows your case history better and can advise you accordingly. Do write to me again.
Take care and regards!
