beta question

I went for my beta testing this am. I just had a call from the dr's office saying my no. is 17, i have to go back on Thursday to do another test. Has anyone ever had such a low no and have a viable pregnancy. The Drs's office said it may be a chemical pregnancy, and we would have to wait and see how it goes on Thurs.

Hi. I can't answer your question, but I'm curious 'cause we may be in the same boat... I went for my beta this morning & I'm waiting for results. Did you get a bfp? I had my first ever faint positive on Thurs (14dpo), followed by negatives & from everything I've read, that could indicate a chemical pregnancy. I sure hope your numbers rise significantly by Thurs! What dpo are you? It is low, but maybe you are just early, numbers have to start somewhere! The important thing is for the numbers to double. I hope it does work out for you!

I had my  iui on the 6th, so i tested 15 days later. Thank you!

not really sure how many days past o, i always find it hard to judge when doing an iui. I did the trigger shot on the 4th. and did first iui on the 5th then the 6th. Thankyou!

hey don't give up, if the docs say you need to have another test is because they believe there is a big possibility the number will come up. Hugs my friend, and I will keep you in my prayers

Wow, this sounds so familiar about two weeks ago, I was posting the same question. My HCG was 19 and progesterone was 10.  Sadly the pregnancy did not make it, but I had some spotting so I kind of figured this was going to happen.  

The reason why I am telling you this because I was so freaked out, but my doctor reassured me that this was a good number to start at. It does not matter what the number is it only matters that it is doubling.  

Don't start stressin' yet girl you got a whole nine months to worry, so pace yourself!!! Keeping my fingers crossed that your numbers double, better yet triple!!!!!
