bfp

hello all---  so i got my beata back this morning and the nurse told me it was only 39.5.  she told me they would rather see it up over 50...  what the heck does this mean for me?  she told me that they were "cautiously hopeful"...i thought that 39.5 is good for 14 dp iui...  any opinions?

Congrats!!  The number is not as important as the doubling of that number every 48 hours.  Check out http://www.betabase.info/showBasicChart.php?type=Single  it has the range of betas for pregnancies where a heartbeat was detected.

As long as your numbers are climbing and hopefully doubling I would say you look good.  I was worried about mine at first too, but several girls on the pregnancy forum had low numbers to start as well.  Sometimes we're off on our O date and just a day or even 1/2 day can make a difference in those numbers.  When is your next beta?

Still so happy for you!!! No - nothing for me... I had a weird AF... only showed for one day, then a little bit two days later... but my dr said it was probably due to the Clomid and to go ahead with my next cycle... so I'm on my third pill today - hoping to join you in the BFP club soon!!

My numbers were 79 then 172 then 408...all about 48 hrs apart.

I know this wait is killing you...but regardless...look at it this way...anything over 25 means u are definitely pregnant...so whatever happens...know and have the confidence that you can get pregnant.

U might have them check ur progesterone pretty early on as well.  I had a chemical in December and I think it was bcuz my progesterone was low.  This time they gave me progesterone as soon as they got that first # over 25.

I pray and hope those numbers get close to doubling for you.
