bleeding after laparoscopic surgery

I had an ectopic pregnancy in my right fallopian tube removed(tube was saved) and repairs on my left (scar tissue and drainage of fluid build up) 3 days ago. I was kept over night and released the next afternoon. I have not had much bleeding until toady. I am not soaking through pads but the blood is bright red and when I urinate there is dark red/black clots bigger than a quarter size in the toilet. I am not sure the clotting is normal after this procedure. Should I bre concerned? I calle dthe surgical floor and they said if I am worried to come to ER. I live 30 miles from the hospital and am on some pretty strong pain pills from surgery and I am alone so driving isn't a great idea if I don't have to.

Dont be worried.  I had a laparoscopic surgery in may for PCOS, and I bled for about 3 days afterwards.  The dr told me it was perfectly normal, and just to make sure to NOT use a tampon.  If it continues beyond that, then you can worry.  Sorry for your loss :(  Good luck and lots of baby dust as you continue TTC
