bleeding and hysterogram

I had my last period on 8/15/08 and then had a hysterogram on 8/27/08.  Everything came out fine but my period still has not come.  I have cramping and have been spotting since 9/9/08 very light spotting and just two - three times during the day.  I just took a pregnancy test but came out negative.  Could i just not be getting a normal period this month?  Should i go to the hospital?

How long are your cycles normally? If you started your last period on 8/15, that would make it exactly 28 days today. So that means that a) you might start your period soon (if your cycles are usually around 28 days), or b) you could be pregnant, but tested too early. Good luck!
