blood screening

Has anyone ever had there blood screening test come back at risk for a spinal defect of some sort and the babis is actually healthy?

Many, many poster have. I think you may have better luck with firsthand info on the pregnancy 35+ forum. Most of the ladies there are not over 35, most are the lucky ones that left here once they became pg. There are sooooo many wonderful ladies over there, too.  But, yes I have seen many of them post about it and everything turned out fine. In fact, I think Patty, the CL over there had it happen to her.

Blood test just say that your baby may be at risk.  It's not a definitive answer.  Many ladies got a false positive with the blood test but the baby was OK and healthy.  Just do the follow up testing to reduce stress and axiety.
