yay! there's two of us now,  I saw your post this morning and did not know you got a BFN so I was encouraged to buy a two pack clear blue,  now I am scared to test.  haha maybe I will try wednesday, we'll see how strong I am tomorrow morning :( I am feeling nothing but tired and gagging just by smelling the food I used to love dearly :(.  I will be praying for both of us :)

Yeah I couldn't wait any longer and my DH was having a horrible day at work so I thought I'd test and surprise him when he got home if it was BFP..now all I'm going to have is a crabby DH and be crabby myself! I am still feel like this is my month. I also feel a little queezy but nothing too bad and I am having mild cramping and sore bbs..so hopefully I just tested too soon and we'll get BFPs on Wednesday!!

we have the same temps :) hope that's a good sign too and at lunch time we went to my favorite restaurant and the moment we opened the door, I can't stop complaining about the smell and had to go to the ladies room to stop gagging and now having mild headaches probably too much thinking.  I am going on thursday for my blood test to make sure of the result, so is this what you call  HCG?

I am going to test Wednesday (which will be CD 30 and 16DPO) if AF doesn't show by then or my temp doesn't drop. I don't think my Dr will do a blood test until after CD 34 (since I was on clomid) ....I have mild sore bbs...but my nips are really really sensitive....I don't have ay major positive signs that this is going to be a BFP...but I'm still keeping my fingers crossed..

your chart looks good, even a possible implantation dip at 7 dpo although I myself have seen many dips that meant nothing in the end.  The important thing is that your BBT is rising: that's an excellent sign.

I am testing tomorrow wednesday and I am going mental. Have had bad period pain for 4 days now and I have been positive it was coming every day but I am certain it will show up tomorrow on the morning of the test. how cruel.

well my temp jumped this morning to 99.0!! YAY I have never had a 99.0 before...I hope that it means a BFP and not that I am coming down with something!!!! I might break and test sometime today, cause this is driving me crazy!!!!

Hi girls! Hope everyone is doing well. I'm debating whether or not I should test on Thursday. I'll be 12 dpo by then...but I haven't had any symptoms. I don't even have tender BBs, which I normally have after O (and I had VERY sore BBs when I got my two BFPs [both ended in miscarriages]), so I'm not really expecting a BFP this month.

I have no symptoms either.  I tested today, which is 11 dp trigger shot, 10 dpo, and it was BFN, so at least I know the trigger is out of my system.  I'll test again Thursday, but I'm not expecting anythig.

Wow I missed a lot while I was gone for the night. Tea_berries..you should just wait! You are probably jumping the gun just like I did yesterday. However, I could not sleep at all last night. I was having constant mild cramping and I was terrified that AF was coming. Every time I went to the bathroom I knew it was going to be there..but still no AF...but I'm sure it'll come..why would I be cramping like this if it wasn't! AHHH..I hate this.

Funny thing is I did not get proper sleep yesterday and DH is snoring away too.  Last night I slept like 4 to five hours only and had to wake up sometimes just because I feel like peeing, (must be going imagining things because I know it's an early sign of pregnancy :( hope not) Anyway DH kept snoring last night too LOL and I agree at least one of us gets to sleep properly.  

and me having no symptoms of pregnancy anymore is killing me.  Aside from the headaches that may be from too much thinking.

Yup..I'm going to try it again tomorrow morning. That's if my lovely AF doesn't stop at my doorstep. I am 13dpiui so we are right on together. I do still have sore bbs and cramping..but that's normal for me before AF. I do however have class at 8:00 in the morning so I won't get back to my computer until 11:30 central to let you know the results!! :(

I soo feel like AF is on her way!!  :o(  lower back is killing me, boobs hurt, crampy, and I had a little spotting this afternoon.  nothing major, just a few spots.  oh well, if Af is going to come she should be here tomorrow or thursday at the latest.  my luteal phase is usually 13-14 days and today is 13dpo.  temp was 97.89 this morning.  still trying to keep hope alive.

hmmm isn't that supposed to be good news? I mean your temp is amazing.  I have read more than one thread that have these women bleeding lightly but are stll pregnant.  My neighbor is one of them.  I still think we will make it to the BFP line tomorrow and thursday..  If I get BFN tomorrow and no AF I will still keep hoping till BW says no :(

Anyway, did any of you girls been constipated lately? I have been for the past six days now. I never constipate because I love fruits it is very unusual for me you think this is a bad sign? hope not. anyone?

I am still hoping for tomorrow though... and thursday.  I say, there's still hope as long as AF does not pop in.  so are you testing? I suggest you wait at least the day before you are supposed to,,,  like friday... up to you though    baby dust!!!!

I'm having some slight pressure low in my abdomen tonight...I hope that AF isn't going to show!! Tomorrow makes 16 DPO and my LP last cycle was 17...so I am still going to test in the morning, unless AF shows! Good Luck everyone!!

Nevaeh--Hon, I am so sorry. AF, that evil hag! The only thing thatmakes me feel better after a BFN or AF is looking ahead to a new cycle and thinking positively about the outcome. But, I usually have a pity party first. ((HUGS))

tea-berries--constipation is a very common early sign of pregnancy! It can also be for AF, but if you don't normally have that problem, then maybe that is a good thing. SSBD!

I tested.  Hmmmm. First I tested yesterday morning, which was 11 days post trigger, and got a negative, then re-tested later in the afternoon, and got a very faint, had to turn the test every which way, positive.  Tested this morning and got a light positive, barely can see it but darker than yesterday.  But today is 12 days post trigger, so maybe it is only the trigger?  Until it is dark, I will not get excited!

Very possible you're preggers!  I had a nearly invisible line on 10 days post trigger and I was sure it was just trigger, but the line just baaaaaaarely started getting darker each day, and now I'm 15 days post trigger and have a big, fat BFP!!!

My doc said the trigger really should be out of your system in about a week, though I've found with FRER it can show up very faintly until about day 10 or so.  Get a FRER!!  They are SOOOOOOOOO sensitive!!

I get my beta tomorrow!!!  I'm still spotting a little which is freaking me out, but doc said it's okay.

As for symptoms, if any of you were wondering, the main symptom I had was a very low tugging/cramping in my uterus about 6 dpo.  I've had AF type cramps since the IUI on and off, which is unusual because I don't typically cramp until the day my period starts.  Now that I am 13 dpo, I'm cramping quite badly... feels just like AF.

My bbs are totally NOT sore, which is different too.  I usually have very sore bbs right before AF, but right now they don't hurt at all.  The only other thing I can think of is that I've been really tired (sleepy) the last week or so.

My DH had a vasectomy when he was 21..so it's been like 11 years almost so we do IUI with a donor. I had an u/s to make sure I had no cysts and everything was in "working order"..started IUI's and after the third one had an HSG to make sure my tubes were fine in which they were..so I'm on to my 5th IUI now and still no luck. I have a bad feeling something is wrong that they aren't seeing!!! :( My fertility nurse is even stumped as to why it's not working. I'm even on clomid.

nevaeh--I would post on the forum with this, if you haven't already. Maybe you need a second doctor's opinion, or maybe you need to move to injectables. Do they monitor your follicles before your IUI?

Things are not looking to good for me I had a low progesterone test but I have no signs that AF is coming. Normally I cramp but I have not been at all. I have slightly sore bbs but not like it is when I get AF. My ribs on the other hand feel like someone sucker punched me or body slammed me I am not sure what that would be caused from but who knows. As my DH says my body has never been normal and when they expect my body to do one thing it does another. Best wishes to all.

haha..yeah yeah..easier said than done. I decided to take the month off of the meds but still do the IUI this month. They tell me they are just to increase my chances but maybe they're hurting me..so all natural this next month..well almost ;) Still gotta have that IUI.

Hi all!

I'm new to this site but you all seem so nice. So I was hoping I could share some of my hopes and fears with you all as well as maybe help a little with some of yours. I'm pretty young in my early 20s and ttc with my loving dh. this is our first month trying and I am approching the end of my tww. I supposedly O'd on the 10th of feb and am expecting AF on the 25th if there is no baby. (FINGERS DOUBLE CROSSED THAT THERE IS) I've been feeling crampy, moody, and bloated since the 10th and even had a few days were I was crying uncontrolably. I'm scared that this is all in my head becuase I want it so bad but at the same time I'm sooooo excited about the possibility. I think I might wait to test though until after I miss my period I've already had 2 BFN and those make me sad... I would love to hear any advice or even symptoms that any of you guys have.

well...no Af yet.  temp was 97.75 this AM.  took a FRER test this AM and I THINK I got a very faint line.  it was very faint tho, hoping it's not just my imagination!  If AF doesn't show up by saturday going to take another test.  afraid to get my hopes up just yet.

I was a bit disappointed that my doctor was busy to take phonecalls yesterday.  I was told to call her office to get a blood test requisition for today if I miss my period.  Still a good thing No AF.  But did nt test,  I am getting broke with expensive pregnancy tests so I will wait till my doctor gets on the phone and talk to me.  YOu think I should try those dollar store tests?

The dollar store test say they pick up 20 miu, I am waiting for them to open (another half hour) because FRER is $18 for a 3-pack, and those are $3!!!! And I know I will take them all 3 in one day! Yes, I think try it out.

frer is cheaper compared to clear blue then :) clear blue here in edmonton is $20 per pack of 2 so they are like ten dollars each and 1canadian dollar is about .98US dollar. I don't think we have those here though :( I will try a dollar store close to our office and try testing at noon and tomorrow morning if they have the dollar store ones. :)

As long as AF doesn't show, there is still hope. I POAS as late as the night of 12dpiui, and got a BFN. Then in early am of 14dpiui got my b/w and BFP, so who knows?

there's no harm in testing though :) some people get results.  I am not sure about me :( I did not even try testing this morning I will jst wait for a few more days.  I am not feeling anything different anymore.  I had those symptoms of yours like around 5DPO to mmm maybe 11DPO and then suddenly they all decided to disappear.  I hope you do get your BFP soon just like the other ladies here.  It gives me joy to hear good news.  Because it just means that our turn is comming.  :)  Let me know what happens :) So when are you supposed to miss your period? are you taking fertility pills? IUI? or are you trying the natural way?  I just finished my first round of clomid 50mg last Jan29.

Im sorry i forgot to say all that. Yah i took clomid on 3-7 50mg first time. had a iui on the 9th of feb. i am 13dpiui first time for that too. I started getting sore BBs on about 6dpiui and around 10dpiui everything went away.  now i have this weird feeling in my lower abdomen and increased CM. dont have that feeling that im preggers though. I gave in and took a test this morning BFN. i figured as much. Im thinking it would show positive by now but im not 100%sure. how about you how long have you been TTC and are you only taking clomid. whats your next step....Good luck to you regardless though. I know that all this waiting can be really hard.

so I did the blood test yesterday anyway, you know how we ladies just have to do what we have to do.  I am trying to take the negative thoughts out of my mind.  It makes me happy to just think nothing about the result and just obsess talking to all of you.  So there you go I did the test but it was not the easiest thing for me.  I had to be poked three times to get blood.. the first two tries with lady#1 did not work...both arms! then she asked for help... smart Lady#2 used a fine needle.....felt the vein a few times with her finger and yey! she got blood.  It was horrible for me I felt lady#1 moving the needle inside my skin trying to catch the vein TMI anyway, I made it.  So now two week wait boils down to two hour wait.  even worst :) I get cold hands waiting.  Please pray for my BFP ladies. I need it badly.

sorry about the BFN sarah.. not too late though look at me at 17DPO still waiting and hoping.  I hope we get ours soon.

I agree that 12 dpo is early, but I also don't have any pregnancy symptoms, and I had super sore BBs and lots of dull cramping by now the two times I did get pregnant (early miscarriages). I actually set up an appointment with the RE I saw last year, and will go for a consultation next week. But like you, Helen, I have no coverage, not even for diagnostic, so I'll really have to weigh my options once I've had the consultation.

Still hoping for BFPs for you girls! I am finally able to deal with my BFN and with AF gone I'm ready to start the next round. No fertility meds this month though. taking a break from the clomid for a month! Hopefully this will be the one that works! Now all I gotta wait for is the O! GOOD LUCK. Let us know the news!

they want me to do another blood test when AF does not come :) I don't feel pregnant though.  the only difference is that my lower back is hurting and occasional cramping.  I don't know what to think anymore.  I always get crapms with AF but not until the second day.  bbs are tender as usual.  Well there's still hope because no AF.  My friend just got a positive today. jealous and happy for her. :)

I am thinking positive.  :) you never know. some take like three blood test to get the BFP. I learned that from yahoo answers.  so me ladies there are talking and one of them said she got three negative Betas and did not know she's prego till they did an U/S now four months prego.  so still hoping :)

there were a few people on here that got a negative at 13dpiui but at 16dpiui they got a positive. there is always hope. sometimes it just takes a while.

I had sore bbs Tuesday and Wednesday but nothing Thursday and Friday. I just have lower back pain that is starting to become annoying more then painful. I continue to feel like I am constipated and its driving me nuts other then that I have no symptoms at all. My DR's nurse told me to come in today for my HCG if I did not start my period and normally when I have a trigger shot my period will start the day its suppose to. But this month I have no signs that it is coming nothing to indicate that it will come so I am still hoping. Lots of Baby Dust to you.

called my OBGYN today.  he's out of the office until tuesday!  so.. I have an appt with him tuesday at 11:30.  guess their standard procedure is to do an in office urine test, then blood test.  last Dr  I went to didn't even want to see me till at least 8 wks, just sent me for a blood test.  I wasn't too crazy about that office.  one of the reasons I switched.


Going to be a long wait till I get my blood test results!!! probably won't know till wednesday or thursday.  You know how they are about getting the results back to you.

I definatley feel pregnant.  which is enough for me at the moment.   sore boobs, mild cramps on and off, tired, back hurts, thirsty,  running to the bathroom every hour!

I didn't have any of these symptoms with my ectopic.  just started bleeding.


Oh well, hope everyone survives the weekend!!  sending positive thoughts your way and of course SSBD!!

I have an oppointment with the RE on March 10th I think. it's my first appointment.
We had s/a done last month and found out DH has low motility. This cycle i tried Clomid and just BD'd. I do not t hink I will be getting a BFP this month.
If my calculations are correct, I would be O on like March 12th. Do you think they would do IUI, one or two days after our first consultation?
I know they are gonna think I am crazy, but I just don't want to waste a whole month!

Still no AF for me. Nervous about tomorrow for my results but I really want to know so I am excited on the other hand. DH is really excited which I am glad He wanted my results like last Friday when I had my blood drawn but they had to send it away to have it tested.  I truly in my heart believe that I am normally when I take trigger shot and meds if I don't get pregnant I normally work like clock work with my period. And I have no signs or symptoms of it coming so tomorrow I guess will answer it all. Sorry Alikat for your spotting. It will come for all of us the day that we can all say we are PG.

I hear you about trying to stay positive!!   I got a faint + on a hpt thursday, then started spotting last night.  Nothing like a normal menstrual flow.  very light, and kinda watery, although I did have a few small clots.  haven't even gone through one pad yet, so I am trying not to get too worried.  I have heard so many stories of people spotting and still having a normal pregnancy.  hoping that is the case for me.

my OBGYN appt is tuesday.  hope the spotting stops by then.  going to take a hpt in the morning to see if I still get a +.  my temp is still up.  was 97.7 this morning.  which has to be a good sign.  right?


what cd are you on?  I am 18dpo.  


I hope Af doesn't show and you get a BFP.  when are you testing again?

I'm just a day or two behinde you though. My face is breaking out and I'm crampy so I'm sure I'll AF will be showing her ugly head very soon.  I do have a LOT of heavy thick white CM (sorry for tmi), I'm not sure what thats all about though.
It's so freaking frustrating. I just said to DH that I think maybe we should just wait like 6 months a nd pick this back up. He doesn't want to wait, suprisingly. We are 15 yrs apart and I think his age is catching up to him. Me on the other hand am loking for a job and I mine as well just put all my energy towards that.

Yeah I know what you mean about wanting to take a break. It just gets frustrating. My DH is also 10 years older than me and really wants more children (he's got two from a previous marriage but they live out of state).

I am not sure i think around 18 to 19DPO that means we are on the same boat, yay! ,\my temps look good too, although it dropped .4 yesterday but back up today at 98.2  I did a beta last thursday though and got a negative. I was sad.  But the nurse said I should come again wednesday for another beta when af does not arrive,  i hope she does not show up to and get a positive.  congratulations on our faint positive.  it is a good sign. I am not feeling anything different today just the on and off spotting sometimes pink sometimes red and sometimes brown.  how about you? keep me posted!

well, pretty sure I am out.  temp this morning is still a little above coverline, but.....here comes the bad news.... took a HPT, BFN!!!  this after getting a faint + on thursday and saturday.  and my bleeding has become normal period bleeding.  lots of blood clots this morning.  I am soo upset and frustrated.  :o(  just want to stay home and cry all day.  but of course I can't.  have to go to work.

still going to  keep my appt with OBGYN tomorrow.  going to talk to him about what we can do.  probably not much since our insurance doesn't cover infertility treatment.  still fighting with them to get them to pay for my HSG!!

oh well, hope everyone else has a better start to their week!!

I am sooo sorry!  I know exactly how you feel.  I got a false positive myself this cycle and it threw me off so much!  I am still recovering.  This was so much harder than any BFN in the past.  My heart goes out to you.

I'm out.  Started today.  I am so upset I really can't take this.  I called the dr. to make appt. for this month's ovulation induction.  He will only let me do 4 tries, and this will be #3, then he suggests IVF, my DH says no.  So I have basically 2 chances and I'm done forever.

Theoretically, preseed or any sort of thing to help your cervical mucus wouldn't really help with IUI, because you are bypassing the cervix with IUI.  The mucus, hostile or not, really shouldn't be an issue with IUI.  Or so I'm told. :P

ok gave in and took a test today. (16dpiui) it was a dollar tree cheepie ( im tired of spending 20 bucks a pop) came up faaaaaaaaaaaint. like if you just glance at it youll miss it. Its there though tinge of pink not clear. but i dont know. I didnt use FMU. i took it at about 3pm. I called the fert. doc and i go tomorrow for a blood test. I dont feel AF anymore but my BBs kinda hurt. not too bad at all though. im confused just when i was used to the idea that it wasnt my month i get a unsure answere. What do you girls think?

no, that's definite, and hopefully it will confirm that little test!  update!  i ordered my meds today for cycle #3, which i start injecting wednesday.  fortunately, i had meds left over from the last two cycles so it only cost me $85! i really, really need this to happen this month.  


p.s.  this is my second month of clomid/menopur.  last month period was normal.  this month it is very light, this is day two and it is almost over.  i'm not pg, is this a side effect of the meds (i like it!) did anyone else notice lighter, shorter periods?

Yup. I was only taking clomid but it definitely changed my periods. They are heavy for the first day and barely there after the second day. I think it's because it thins your lining?? I don't know but it worries me and makes me think that's why I can't get pregnant??

how long have taken it and what was the dose?  this was #2 for me and i take only 25 mg. of clomid for the reason you stated, my dr. didn't want to thin the lining.  can they see that on ultrasound?  i have an ultrasound tomorrow to start this month's cycle.  will they switch you to something else if you have a thin lining?

I was on it for 5 cycles. I'm taking this month off of it because of hot flashes..and it doesn't seem to be working anyways. I was only on 25 mg as well. I was also taking estradiol which is supposed to help thicken the lining?? but I don't think it was working too well. Yeah they can see how thick your lining is from an u/s. I think they will take you off of it if it's too thin.

it was horrible yesterday.  All of you know that I had AF visit me and she visited with terror,  I was sitting happily in my desk when suddenly severe cramps hit me,  I am sweating like mad on my desk.  finally called hubby to pick me up from my desk since I could hardly walk.  I just made it out the building door and then I vomitted.  (sorry tmi) I was crying in pain while he's driving me back home.  

It happens to me once in a while and i confirmed that it only happens when I ovulate.  Not a very exciting one huh? I mean I ovulate but I pay for it in the end if I don't get prego.  any of you ladies have the same problem with AF?

I've heard to still BD when doing IUI.  I am planning on using pre-seed when BDing b4 and after IUI.  I've heard to make ur last BD the day of trigger or + OPK and then start BDing again the night of IUI.  Just what I've gathered from others.

Thanks for advice..but unfortunately I can BD all I want and it isn't going to get me pregnant. My husband had a vasectomy like 11 years ago after his 2nd daughter was born from a previous marriage...so this won't help my situation much.
I haven't been doing injectibles at all so hopefully this will be the trick if this cycle doesn't work.

well, Dr confirmed miscarriage today.  which I already knew.  started bleeding heavier today and I passed some pink tissue

The really sucky part is that the Dr. wants me to hold off on ttc until my next thryroid blood test comes back normal!  just had one on the 12 and it came back high and they had to adjust my dosage.  well, now at the recommendation of my OBGYN they changed my RX.  before I was getting the generic form of synthroid, levothyroxine.  now I am actually getting the name brand synthroid.  he seems to think that maybe the generic version was not working too well since my tsh levels went back up.

so, this will mean that we cannot ttc this cycle because I will be ovulating the week BEFORE my blood test!!! and the next cycle will be out also because I will be in Florida visiting family when I am due to ovulate.  DH cannot take time off from work to go.  :o(


this soo sucks!!! will be May before we can start ttc again!!

Oh no! you were very close :( well at least you know you are capable of getting pregnant in the future because you just did right?  Maybe next time it will be sooo perfect and you will finally get pregnant after resting.  I wish you luck next time and say hi to us every now and then even if you are not actively TTC.  Make sure you collect alot of baby dust while resting so you can use them all by the time you can TTC again :)

Thanks!  Yes, Dr says once my thryoid is under control I should have no problem concieving.  I thought my thyroid was under control this time!! my levels were normal the last 3 months.  I ovulated  the wk before my blood test so I had no way of knowing my tsh levels had sky rocketed again!!!

I just hate the idea of having  to take a few months off again,.  I took a break from ttc in November and December.  was getting too depressed and needed a break to recharge.
thinking of cancelling the trip to florida with my parents since I should be ovulating during that time frame.  Is that crazy???  I want a baby more than I want to go down there to see my brother and the land my parents bought!!  I figure they both will be there later!

If I could have reached through the phone and slapped my mom today I would have.  she called to see how my dr appt. went.  then  told me that I am trying too hard!!!

sometimes they don't understand us.  I mean back in the days, it was not that hard to have a baby at all.  I mean look at them all the old folks I know have children and no problem at all conceiving.  That's why they don't understand our situation.  I know exactly how you feel about not wanting to go and TTC instead.  Because that was a decision I made at the moment.  We planned on going to my home land sometime december.  But if i get pregnant, that would mean all the plans will be canceled.  We waited two years to do this vacation.  But I told hubby that I would like to have a baby more than anything else right now.  I hope my parents would understand.  I guess by the time I get prego, they will understand.  Hope so.  But I am sticking to my guns this time.  Baby first.  Good luck on whatever your decision will be, I know it will be the best for you whether you decide to rest or TTC. either way it's good.  a win win situation :)
