can i still get pregnant after having an abortion!!!

I found out that i was pregnant on  the 1st of december 08 of last year.Then I went to the doctors,and she told me that I was 8 wks pregnant.I had an abortion when I was 8wks going to 9 wks.Me and my boyfriend start having sex about 3 months later,he finish in me and evey since that day his been finishing in me .We're trying to have a baby, and to this point i havent gotten pregnant yet...I really sad because we really want to have a family and Im scare that I cant never have a baby ever again...please help me,

It is possible to get pregnant after having an abortion. I had an abortion at 16 yrs old, and I am now a mother of a 2 1/2 year old, and i am currently pregnant. Although I have heard that sometimes an abortion can damage your reproductive organs, and make a person infertile, I would think that this day in age the procedures are not as risky, but if you really want an answer that has proof I would go to the Dr. and ask if you are capable of having children?
