can i take baby aspirin?

Iam 5dpo,,and 5dpiui too,,can i take baby aspirin from now? Does it has any side effects?

I would think so...I take one every day throughout my cycle. And there are no side effects, as far as I know.

I heard baby aspirin is good take while TTC. I plan on taking it after my first IUI. Like Heather said I dont think aspirin has any side effects. Good luck :)

When I went in to begin my fertility treatment the RE said to take 1 low dose aspirin a day and to take it up until 12 weeks pregnant.

i've wandered myself about taking this, did yalls RE"s do any studies on you that suggested you should take asprin, or did they just say it can't hurt to give it a try?? i know there is a big study underway about the benefits while ttc, but the results won't be in until 2011 or something and i'm def not that patient!

The RE did mention that it helped prevent mc, bcuz it thinned the blood. I am taking their orders very serious and with alot of FAITH that this will help me get pregnant and keep the pregnancy til birth.

I am 9dp3dt and I was instructed to take a baby asprin a day, to help prevent clotting. Clotting can cause a m/c. ONLY baby asprin though 81mg, do not take regular asprin.

it helps to make sure the blood circulates well through the uterus.  i took one a day up until my 13th week.  it has been proven to be dangerous as you get closer to the end of pregnancy but not the beginning.

bny your response tickled me, i logged on with a frown and now im smiling after reading your post:) I guess im on my way to the store to get some baby asprin, guess it wont hurt, im taking extra folic acid plus my prenatal, mite as well go all out.  SSBD to everyone

I m/c with my first IVF 5day tansfer with 2 embies. This is our 2nd attempt but with a FET. My RE is now haivng me take 81 mg a day of asprin. DOing this is "said" lower your risk of m/c. During your cycle, many women have a very thick uterine lining. DUe to this, the blood is extremely thick. This thickness creates clotting and prevents the blodd flow to the embies. So, by taking the baby asprin 81 mg, you are still having a thick uterine lining, but without the thickness in the blood. So, I'm praying that this cycle takes. We go for our FET on Sept. 9th and we need all the prayers we can get. Good luck to all going through  this together! HUGS!!!!!!!!
