Thanks 4 a quick response, in my third ( August) IVF I started with 2.25 of Gonal F & 10ml of Lucrin and my Dr adjusted my Gonal F to 300ml & retain 10ml of Lucrin. I believe we will adjust again on Wednesday if the results are not too good. I will never stop praying until something happens.

I read that it is advisable to eat pineapple when approaching retrieval stage to help with implantation anything else that can help.

Hi Melissa, my situation is similar to urs.  I am also a poor responder.  I was on very high dose for superovulation in my 3rd cycle and I only managed to produce 7 follicles of which only 5 were retrieved and was told very poor quality.  We fertilized only 2, but thankfully grade A and we went ahead with the transfer.  I don't know what to expect.  My ovarian reserve is very low, so don't know how many more times we can do this. Im in my 2ww. And just praying for the best. How are things with you?

Hi thuthukile, ask them to increase ur superovulation if they can. Some ppl also do accupuncture and yoga to help improve their ovarian reserve.  But I don't think either worked for me.  My doc had prescribeed me DHEA which helps with count apparently but not quality necessarily. Ask ur doc abt DHEA and Wheat Germ.  Goodluck for ur scan on Wed!

Hi

Yes another round of IVF again, I'm in my day 5 of stimulation. My first scan without medication indicated 3 antral folicles and the previous one for August at this stage I had only one . Is this a good sign? I don have that much pain in my abdoman is the medication working ? or there is only one folicle growing again.  I don want this cycle to be cancelled agail anything that I can take to improve possitive response?

My scan after medication is on Wednesday. I had two failed IVF, one cancelled I responded poor.

Sorry that you are having problems starting with your IVF cycle.  I never really had a full cycle canceled.  The only thing that happened to me recently was when I was trying to get clearance to start my meds, got my period. (Which is what they wanted)  & then somehow according to my blood work I also ovulated.  I have no idea how that happened but as we all know with IVF, your blood work needs to be PERFECT.

I know you will get there too. Hang in there. I know it sounds frustrating but you will start soon.

Hello, havent had my cycle cancelled but I am a very poor responder, poor egg quality and production but my clinic here in England still went ahead with egg collection and our 1 embie 2 cell, 2 day transfer(they transfer 2 day here for poor responders as the embryo has better chance back in its natural surroundings if you've only got 1 to put back, usually older women)
I got 4 eggs on both 1st and 2nd attempts, 2 fertlized cycle 1, 1 fertilized cycle 2. On our 3rd and final attempt we had 3 eggs, only 1 fertilized and thats back in me now. What was your poor response? did you not respond to drugs or produce no eggs?
best wishes and hope your period arrives soon(if you're not pregnant naturally!!) lots love melissa
