I'm sure he is!! Good luck to you! Please let us know how it goes!
I go to RMA in fishkill, NY ..its new to the area (hudson valley).I thought i was the only one who only speaks to the nurses..I havent seen my dr since i started this cycle..I guess I have to trust he is making the decisions!
hi it's me... if your talking about medication before the transfer of frozen embryo.... the only thing i needed to do was to take prometrium the day before as vaginal insertion.... 3 times a days after the transfer... it makes the uterus wall thicker.... the doc told me like a shaggy rug so the embryo could nest better.... maybe that could answer your question... i haven't taken anything else since before egg retrieval...maybe different clinic uses different method.... in any case.... i know at least this abbreviation now.....SSBD to both of you... sending you prayers and best wishes
I have an appt. with my RE on Tuesday. They froze 6 embies, but I'm not sure the quality of them. I know little about FET. I'm assuming it is not as expensive, am I right? Also, do you need to be on any meds before the transfer? How long after the fresh cycle can you do the FET? When was your ectopic pregnancy? Thanks for keeping in touch!!!!
I live in Manhattan and I go to RMA.
I had EXACTLY the same experience .Big office ,TONS of people but you get the feeling they know what they're doing.
During my ectopic I got more personal attention (I guess they were really scared)but that's it...You basically get to speak to the nurses mostly and only sometime with the doctors.
Are you doing FET next?
How many embies you have left?
We will try to do FET in October but we have only 3 left...
SSBD to us! ;)

I live in Long Island. I go to North Shore's Center for Human Repro. I was referred by a friend and know another co-worker who is going there now as well. It's hard to judge since I have no other experience. The positives are the appt.'s are on time, everything happens in the same facility, the nurses are wonderful. I think the dr.'s leave you a bit on the "only what you need to know basis" which is frustrating when you just don't always know what to ask. I did go for a second opinion very early on-- that dr. happened to have taught my present dr! Her opinion pretty much matched up with what North Shore is doing with me. My only concern is that they have so many patients, I wonder how careful they can really be. They are always so quick in their time spent with you. But, It's close to home and accepts my insurance--key factors when you are dealing with this. How about you??
