clomid

ok, my question is this my doc put me on period enducers for me to have a period, well I know i am supposed to start taking my clomid on cyle day 5,  well i am on cyle day 8 and i am still going on my period (medium) is that ok?

i believe that is very abnormal, are you really sure that you started the clomid on CD5?  I think you mistimed starting your clomid because I don't think it is possible to start your period that soon.  You would not have anything to shed from your uterus this soon.  Talk to your doctor.  I'm the exact opposite I need to start mine.  I used clomid last month and now I'm on CD38 and still no period, but it did trigger me to ovulate about CD 14/15 ish.
