clomid challenge

I got the results from my day 21 progesterone.  I definately did not ovulate this cycle.  It's so disappointing.  I feel foolish for getting my hopes up.  I was taking clomid 50 mg.  It worked for me in September of last year, but I had a miscarriage.  So, my ob/gyn said that the next step would be the clomid challenge test.  I've read some stuff about it on the internet, since she called me today.  But, does anyone else have advice about the clomid challenge?

I had the clomid challenge testing done, I had blood work drawn on cd3 and cd10, took 100mg clomid for 5 days cd5-9 then u/s on cd11 to check what clomid does to the follicles and how many (had 2)  Did have the HCG shot on cd11 as well, sadly and dissapointed i had a neg preg test, Dr reassures me I responded well to the test and recommends trying again.  I am currently on another  CCT, took 100mg on cd3-7 this time, u/s on cd11 showed 3 follies this time so trigger shot given again, followed by 2 days of IUI, we will see this month.  Good luck, it is interesting to see how our body reacts to clomid.  My progesterone levels and all other labs were WNL.   Fit4fun

Well, I think on the clomid challenge test, they use 100mg., which would probably be your next step anyway, since you didn't ovulate on 50mg. I haven't had one done yet, but from what I've understood, the only thing they do is check your FSH on CD3 and again on CD10. Good luck!
