IUI is a fertility treatment done with a fertility specialist where your partner would give his semen sample to the clinic where it is prepped and then you go in and have the semen inserted past your cervix directly into your uterus with a catheter. It is a bit invasive, but doesn't feel much different than a pap test.
If your partner has good semen analysis results, and you've had some testing done to ensure that ovulation is the only issue, you may only need the clomid to conceive.
Good Luck!
what is iui,i read that a loy of people are having it but dont know what it is
I had a bfp on my 4th IUI and 3rd round of clomid. I actually ovulate on my own, but take the clomid to have more follicles release eggs because we have major male factor infertility issues. Unfortunately my pregnancy was ectopic, and like you I lost a tube, so we will be starting all over again when I get the okay from the fertility Dr.
Have you considered IUI with the clomid to increase your chances of conceiving?
so there is hope that these are gonna work, did you have pco
