clomid/ttc/the big o

i was on my first round of clomid days 3-7 50mg.
my doctor has told me to BD on cd12-15 which is june 20th thru the 23rd. my question is, when in this time am i expected to ovualte?  im using answer opk and so far all have been - . should  i test more then 1 time a day? or switch brands? i am suposed to start BD in 2 days, but no ovulation has occured?

I recommend BDing everyday or everyother day starting after AF until you expect her again. Clomid can make you ovulate later that CD14 even though most drs disagree so they think aslong as you're covered through those days (12-15). I've heard great things about the digital OPKs but if you have PCOS like I do, than they might not be as accurate, hense why I would BD as much as you can just to make sure you cover your bases. I was on clomid for 5 cycles and got my BFP on #5. I also used the sperm friendly lube PreSeed when we BD'd. Good luck if you have any questions for me msg me! :0)

I was on clomid for one cycle and ovulated on Day 17. So I agree with the previous poster that you should BD every other day to make sure you don't miss ovulation if you think the OPKs are not accurate. I have PCOS but the OPKs do work for me and I was able to get a positive on day 17. Good luck to you.
