conceiving with high TSH levels

hi, i am 31 years old and i've been diagnosed with high TSH levels (TSH : 14.3) but i have normal T3 & T4. My question is:
1. why TSH is high when both T3 & T4 are normal ? and what effect does a high TSH have on body when both T3 & T4 are normal?
2. I am going to get married in a months time, and i want to conceive as soon as possible, will i be able to conceive with this level of TSH? & if i do conceive will there be any threats to the child's health because of my high TSH?

Did you ask your doctor these questions? I am sorry but I would have no clue. I do know that having a high TSH can cause problems in getting pregnant.
