could i be pregnant

i have just had my second lot of blood tests done to see if i am ovulatin as i am takin clomid and metmorfin i have been takin these tablets for 2 months the first test i did my progesterone level was 17.2 which i was told was low and that i was not ovualtin but after just having my second progesterone level checked on day 21 my level now is 100.6 was does this mean ?? please advise

I am surprised they said 17.2 was annovulatory. To me, that indicates ovulation. The 2nd at over 100 is stunning. Are you on progesterone supplements? That is a very high number, even with pregnancy.

no i have been diagnosed with pcos and was put on this tablets to help me ovualate and spoke to doctfor and he said bein only 17.2 on my first test suggest i was not ovualtin but bein over 100 sounds like good news but he said anythin up to 80 is usually just one egg but normally over that is 2 but i have had lately white discharge so not sure what that means as this is my first ever pregnancy if i am so not sure what it all means ??

In women, progesterone levels are relatively low during the preovulatory phase of the menstrual cycle, rise after ovulation, and are elevated during the luteal phase. Progesterone levels tend to be  5 ng/ml after ovulation. If pregnancy occurs, progesterone levels are initially maintained at luteal levels. With the onset of the luteal-placental shift in progesterone support of the pregnancy, levels start to rise further and may reach 100-200 ng/ml at term.


• 1-28 ng/ml Mid Luteal Phase (Average is over 10 for un-medicated cycles and over 15 with medication use)
• 9-47 ng/ml First trimester
• 17-146 ng/ml Second Trimester
• 49-300 ng/ml Third Trimester

This info may let you see why I asked about the progesterone supplements. The 17.2 indicates ovulation by every chart there is. Most drs will tell you anything over 10 indicates o.  A # like 100 is normal in the 3rd trimester. Even if you conceived this cycle, 100 would be quite high. You said this is your 1st pg. Did the dr do an Hcg test and comfirm pg?

hi thanxs for  info but not sure wat a hcg is ? i am due on 2moz but did a preg test today and it came up negative i am just thinkin now that my high progesterone level just indicated that i did ovualate this month, but if i was id only be like 1 1/2 weeks or maybe 2 so prob wont show up yet i prob will have to give myself until the end off the week until i come on, so still am confused as doctors dont really say much just tell me to wait until the end off the month but most people say it dont show up until 6 weeks but i am tired alot and have tender boobs and just want to sleep all the time, and different time off the day my stomach fills like i wont to be sick but i am not. i prob have to just wait and see what happens as i only been on clomid for 2 months so i not expectin it to work staight away as i had pcos all my life i think well that what doctor says,

after bein 4 days late i did not have a period in july i finally came on fri 1st aug doctors just  said to treat it as a late period but its really heavy and not normal is really dark blood have told doctors that i am worried its a very early miscarriage but they would not put me in for a scan as it would not show anythin and it would just come out if i was, but it just really weird blood very thick and lots off and very bad stomach pains, should i just treat it as a late peiod or should i get a second opinion ??
