cysts

I'm wondering if I will ever be able to have another baby.  My son will b 5 march 11 the this yr and I was on the depo shot for2 to  3 yrs right after I had my son. Ive been off ever sence. I haven't been on any other kind sence and refuse to be. A yr after me being off birth control I started my period.(I didn't have a period the whole time on birth control) my periods weren't regular for almost a yr after being off. I would have periods  twice  a month for 7 days each time. Then eventually only once a month for 7 days and now there regular but only 5 days. I eventually went and they did 2 different ultra sounds and found a cyst on my right ovary  that measured 5 cm and my ovary is only 5 and 3/4 cm. The Dr. Told me that it would go away with in a couple months. But when it goes away on one side it comes on the other side but the drs. Don't seem to care. Is this going to stop me from having a baby. I've been trying for going on 3 yrs. Its going to bother me if I can't but I need to know. Or what's the chances an what should I do. Please help as much as u can. Thanks.

There are certain ovarian cysts which can affect fertility .Endometriomas are cysts caused by endometriosis in which the tissue lining the uterus grows outside the uterus. It can be associated with fertility problems. Ovarian cysts resulting from polycystic ovary syndrome can also cause ovulation dysfunction and infertility. It is best to see an expert gynecologist and get treated. Discuss your concerns and take treatment as advised. Keep me posted with more queries.
