day 2 egg transfer with 2 only fertilised

Hello everybody i need some reinsurance please, i went in for egg collection on the 3rd of april and they only retreived 5 eggs, they called this morning and said that only 2 has fertilised and they would like me too come in tomorrow.

but i am really scared that either 1 or maybe both will not fail and then if they do insert the embryos im afraid it wont work as its so early. has anybody else been in this situation and still had a successful pregnancy.

I feel for everyone. I am near the end if my 2ww and getting very excited. It's the worse thing in the world to go through ... Good luck to all and remember its just one little embryo that needs to stick.......

Hey ya i went for my egg collection yesterday, and they told me it was a 4 cell and it was growing as they expected. i asked them why they transfered today and they said if there was 3 embryos then they would of kept it another day. but the success rates are still also good which has put my mind at ease. i saw the 2 embryos on the screen and 1 of them was moving like a goodn hopefully that 1 is more eager to stick.

Which day of transfer babykids did you have?was day 3 or 5 you had.? how are you feeling im on day 2 of transfer and all i keep thinking is am i pregnant.....this 2ww is killing me and its only my 2nd day.

Hi hope yu alright how did it go... i think it depends on the number of cells the embies hev got maybe yos were growing too fast. hev jus been for my et on sat 31March 2ww is like a year.i had 9 egs and 4 fertilised but unfortunately only one was suitable for transfer. wil pray fro yu thru this long journey of hoping

hello babyhope, they said that i have 4 embryos and they know which 2 are the strongest and they said they would recommend if they were inserted back into me. nut i go in today for the transfer so i am going to get some more answers

Havent heard much of day 2 transfer, day 3 is better, day 5 is the best, might work for you. good luck, did you ask them why cant they might few more days?
