day 21 bloods - please help! :)

hi all
i had my 1st +opk last night and again today. that means i ovulated on day 17/18. we have bd a few times yesterday (had abstained for a few days before so im hoping it will work!) i have to get bloodwork on day 21 and i was just wondering.
will they be checking to see if i have ovulated properly or to see if i am pregnant or neither?
my ob/gyn didnt explain much...

Progesterone is usually checked one week after ovulation.

sorry ladies I'm not following, how long after Oing should it take for implant, and should everyone have their progestrone check after implant?

my doc checks levels on cd25...i go in the morning for it as a matter of fact, i hate getting stuck all the time....yall think this is too early for hcg too?

I agree with tina1111, day 21 is usually progesterone, which will determine if you've ovulated or not.  I've most often heard any level above 5 means you've ovulated, but every doctor seems to have their own level they want to see; your ob/gyn will probably explain further once you get your test results.

maybe ill just have to tests after 2ww and/ or wait till next months day 21 test

Day 21 is USUALLY a test for progesterone. If O was the cd17 or 18, it would not have had time to implant yet, so pg couldn't be determined. Hcg isn't produced until implant.
