delay starting clomid?

I have PCOS and my ob.gyn gave me a script for clomid this month, but my husband just found out that he's leaving for business for two weeks on day one of my cycle. he'd be arriving back on day 13. Can I delay starting the clomid until like day 8 or 9 so i don't ovulate until he returns?

I don't know a whole lot about clomid but my doctor has me taking it starting on day 3 after af starts through day 8 of my cycle. So I would not recommend taking at a later date.

Hey i have been on Clomid 100mg for a few months ....i take mine on day 5 thru 9...and then we are supposed to get busy in the bed room from days 11 thru 18....i usually ovulate around days 13 to 15....good luck to you ....im on CD 10 so we can test on 2-17-2009..that is hubby's birthday it would be so great to get a BFP on that day.....
