depo shot/period/concieveing

I was on the depo shot for 6 months, and decided to go off. I have not had my period yet. I have been having dark spotting only to where i have to wear a panty liner.  but its been going on for two weeks is this my period or just a side affect of coming off depo? Also how long can it take for me to get pregnant ive been off depo for 3 months going on four this july.

I would say that is not your period... I wouldn't count it as a period until you have some real flow, even if it is light..

It has been a long time since I was on depo.. but I had the opposit problem.. I spotted the whole time I was on it.. If i remember correctly it is supposed to take a while for you body to get back on track after depo... If you are already in your 4th month and havent' had a normal period you should probably see your dr.  They can give you something (I think progesterone) to help get your cycle back on track..

I found out I was 17 weeks pregnant even though I was getting the depo on 24 Dec. My daughter was born on 10 Jun but I would like to know when did I conceive .
