I was on depo for over 3 years, was scheduled to take one December 2012 and never got it. I have been off of it for a year and half now with no luck getting pregnant. Anyone else with this problem???

Hi ladies,  it is not only depo that takes time. I was on Nuistrate since 2008 till 2011 July and am still struggling with 2nd baby. Done all tests with hubby n all is normal, I guess will have 2 wait n see what happens.

I got off the shot February 1, 2010 I found out i was 6 weeks pregnant April 22, 2010. I was on it since November 20, 2007. I got off completely June 2013 because I gained a total of 53lbs after having my baby march 31, 2011. No matter how much I worked out to try n loose I was gaining.  I managed to control and loose it when I got off of it. But the longer you are on it the harder it takes your body to adjust tp conceiving.  My cousins was on it since 2004 got off 2009 n just got pregnant last year in November she is due in July.

Yes, my last depo injection was in January 2013, after that one, my partner and I decided we should try for a baby. My periods didn't return until 31st December and so far, no joy :(. Many people seem to have the same issue and doing some research, I've found it can take up to 18 months for the depo toget out of your system. Best wishes to you!
