You should fine a new doctor that will do what you request as a patient. Yes you're receiving your cycle each month but there could still be a reason as to why you're not conceiving. Also, has your mate had his sperm tested?
Thank you so much I went to the obgyn today and asked her to check my hormonal level by doing blood work and she said no that she would not run my hormone count because I have a period every month. .. which I'm confused as to why she would say no to me on that. Thank you for you response though. I just don't know what to do now.
Hi there,
I may be able to determine the exact cause only after a complete clinical examination and tests. Since you have been unable to conceive since 1 year it is best to see an infertility expert. Blocked fallopian tubes, hormonal imbalances, thyroid disorders, PID, ovulation dysfunction are few common causes which can lead to difficulty in conceiving. Male factors like decreased sperm count, decreased sperm motility all can lead to infertility. You will need hormonal assay, thyroid function tests and pelvic scan. A semen analysis of your husband may be done to detect if there are any sperm problems. Keep me posted.
Best wishes and take care!
