does previous pregnancy or abortion change your ability to get pregnant?

me and my boyfriend have been trying to have kids for quite some time now. like 2 and a half years too long. i have irreguar periods but i have periods all the same. i had got pregnant when i was 16 and couldnt have a kid at that time, so unfortunately i had to have an abortion :'( but now me and my boyfriend have been trying and still nothing. idk what to do and was wondering if it could be me or him...cuz i mean if i got pregnant once i can get pregnant again right??

I don't know how long you've been trying, but you could always talk to your obgyn about your irregular periods and see what they have to say.  You are young, and I'm sure you'll achieve your dream... I do not think a pervious abortion would have any bearings on you being able to get pregnant now.

ive been to mii doctor before and all she said was that she could put mii on some pills to even out mii periods but i dont know if that would help ovulation
