hello jnitro26
I was in exactly your position after an ectopic and needing both tubes removed - It was really distressing to find out I could only conceive through IVF - but having no tubes does increase your chances of success and I'm happy to say right now i'm 6 weeks pregnant through my first IVF  -    It can happen - Good luck to you :)

nikki12340 - you could see a fertility specialist and try clomid and IUI or IUI with injectables - this way your doctor could monitor you and tell if you were growing follicles on your right side and could increase your chances - good luck

hi sweetie. I have had 3 ectopics and all 3 of them ended up in surgery. my last ectopic was in august and they removed my last fallopian tube so all i can do is ivf. but you still have one tube, that is good. my dr told me before i lost my last tube. that is may take longer to get pregnant. because you ovulate from one ovary each month. lets say this month you ovulate from your left ovary, next month it will be from your right. so you have a chance every other month. hope this helps. just stay positive, im crossing my fingers for you.

Hi honey,I think after an eptopic especially with tube removal its going to half your chances.I had an eptopic in 2005 but only started TTC 18 months ago. There is a high risk of having another eptopic also. You have 1 tube and ovary so its not impossible. Most women ovulate alternative ovaries but i am convinced that i dont as i havent concieved yet.You need to do as much as possible to determine when you will ovulate and BD as much a possible around that time of the month.I hope you get a result soon keep me posted.SSBD Bev xx
