Hello everyone , does the endometrin inserts help with IVF ?

Hi heavenlee!

Since all the follicles are removed during IVF, your body will not produce enough progesterone to sustain a pregnancy on its own, and that's why a progesterone supplement is crucial in IVF treatment. I'm not on endomitrin, but on another vaginal progesterone supplement called crinone. According to my RE, the estrogen supplement is not quite as important, but it is also added after retrieval to maximize your chances. By the way, I'm using vivelle dots too for my estrogen supplement. Hope that helps :-)

(Oh, and BD stands for Baby Dance (intercourse), so timed BD is timed intercourse)

thanks for your imput, I was on estrace but caused a rash so he had me get on Vivelle dot patched, what is timed bd ? and which meds did you not use ? Thanks

I was on them both on my ivf cycles along with prometrium and estrace.for me it didn't do anything cause both of my cycles failed. And i got pregnant with timed bd without taking any of the meds you take for ivf. Maybe they help who knows and my doctors give them to all his patients.
