endometriosis surgery at 16 (PLEASE REPLY AND HELP)

i had surgery to see what was wrong with my stomic. during surgery my doc found 5 different spots of endometriosis that she burned. she said i would have it for the rest of my life. to months have pasted and the day i start my cycle each month the pain is the same if not worse. i cant even get up out of bed on the frist day.after the frist day the pain goes down just a little where i can get up and walk around a little. my doc will not give me any pain med or anything besides birthcontrol. i cant take this. what should i do? please reply with imput

If you are in that much pain, and your doctor is not taking you seriously, than maybe you should get a second opinion- it sounds like you are dealing with a lot more pain than you should be- I would find another doctor and see what they say, good luck!

i have bad endometriosis now stage 3, 2 surgeries behind me.....my first surgery was not done well, i still felt pain after and could not walk. I did complained and dr. was trying to convince me that he can't do anything for me. 3 months after surgery i called office and asked for my operative report, and I saw exactly what they did to me, what was still left......I looked for more experiences endo surgeon and I found her, I told her my first gyno said they can't remove tissueu around ureter area because is dangerous..., and said no one will remove it for me. My second surgeon said she had performed more complicated endo removal, i felt more in ease....I had second laparo 6 months ago, they also removed my appendix.....i am lucky it did not burst earlier....after second surgery i felt very relieved.....go and look for someone else....there are good specialist and average......you know best how do you feel......good luck!!!! i feel you pain...
