evening primrose oil

how good is the evening primrose if you are ttc? does this really works?

some swear by it however I've never had much luck with it.  I asked my RE about it and they have never heard anyone having any luck with it.   They recommend robitussin or even if you can't find just the plain robitussin they say take mucinex.  It has the same ingredient.   I tried the mucinex this month and seen a huge difference in cm since last month I had pretty much none and had hostile around ovulation.

i used it my last cycle and i saw a difference in my cm but it made me ovulate later than normal. i didn't get my bfp
