false negative w/ HCG injection

Is it possible to get a false negative result on a home preg test if you have had an hcg injection or only false positives. the injection was 14 days ago but I still dont have my period. thanks

no such thing as a false negative from the shot. you either have hcg in your pee or not. but you could be pregnant and not have enough hcg yet to register. you just have to wait for your doc to do a bloodtest or you get your period.

I agree, you can't get a false negative from the shot, false positives are much more common. Some women don't get true +'s until after AF is due, so you definately still have a shot! :) Good luck and we'll all be hoping that AF stays away and your blood test is ++++!!! :)
