few follicles

OK ladies. My dr put me on 50mg of clomid this past cycle and on day 14 (which was today) I had to have an u/s so she could look at my follicles. Well, the tech. said she saw few follicles and she did think I o this month. I thought clomid was suppose to make you o. The techn. also said that the dr would call me in a couple of days to tell me what to do next (another u/s or more clomid). Is this normal? Does this mean I can't O at all this month? Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions or advice?

Are you doin okp test and did you get a + if you did then you probably o.  Normally where there is a foll. there should be an egg or thats how i understand it. Hope this helps

My dr tested if i O'd by doing a blood progesterone test on day 21. I found out i did not o on 50mg... hopefully you do:)

I am not using an O kit because I did BBT for a long time and I thought I knew when I O but getting the results today makes me wonder if I just thought I always O or maybe the clomid is not making me O. I also do get blood work done on the 21 day of my cycle so I guess I have to wait for that.

Clomid can make you ovulate later than normal. Doc should have mentioned that...
