first test after transfer

I just did my first pregnancy test at home, and i got negative result. Today is my 16 day after my egg retrival, and my 12 day after the egg transfer. The doctor transfered 3 eggs, but i'm worried about of the test result. Can someone tell me if this is a very bad news, of if can I expect different result next days?

You may still be too early. When is the beta? I have heard of women who tested negative on hpts the same day they got a positive beta! You are not out until the beta says so! i hope it doesn't and you get a bfp!
