but we did not tigger because there were too many of them. AF show up yesterday so i just figured that we didnt fertilize those 10 and we would start again this month. The ultrasound showed that the follicles
still hadnt released. my question is how long are those mature follicels viable for? its been 2 weeks already. If i did a tigger shot after my AF would there be any chance we could concieve (conceive) with those follicels or would we just be wasting our medication?
I honestly am not sure, but I wouldn't think they stay viable this long as they do continue to mature. Did you end up going on birth control? If so you could be having a withdrawal bleed/AF and the follicles
It sounds like you now have cysts, which are common with Clomid. There are follicles which grow and continue growing and for some reason, just don't release when the surge (or tirgger shot) makes the others release. I had one with Clomid and had to go on BCPs for a month to get rid of them. The problem is that if you aren't suppressing natural hormones (and you aren't, it sounds like), then your hormones are actually making the cysts hang around. I suggest you speak with your doctor. My doc said if I did not go on BCPs, then we stood a good chance of the cyst not disappearing for up to 6 weeks. Good luck!
same thing is happening to me! I had a 22mm follie took my trigger and 2 days later went back a day after IUI and the follie is now 25mm and it didn' t release the egg! i am so upset about this!!! I"m also scared it will turn into a cyst too! ugh! i'm debating If i should go ahead and take my progesterone the rest of the cycle or not!? I wander if that would affect the follie/cyst? I"m still holding out a little hope that It will release in the next several days, but I'm sure it won't! ugh! what a pain!
