. are you supposed to be in discomfort? ive been on the menopur and gonal-f since the 22 and i can feel them!! they feel huge! i cant even pee like i usually do! sorry if to much tmi. i usually have this type of pain when i ovulate normaly but not to this extreme. is this normal? has anyone experienced this or have any advice? thanks.
, the first time I thought oh my god, I am hyperstimulated, I do have trouble with peeing, I feel like I have to go and cant go as much as normal. seems like the flow isnt as strong, it also hurts sometimes when I have to have a bowel movement. sorry if thats TMI but its true, and after all its a fact of life, everyone does it right? basically its like a pressure
Yes it does thanks so much!! whew what a relief. are you doing ivf as well? if so where are you in ur cycle.i started taking lupron on June 8th i havent found anyone yet who is on a ivf cycle close to me. anyway thanks again and good luck!
Well, after the egg retrieval and transfer, I felt better. Then about 8 days later, I was really bloated, and crampy. I felt better as long as I sat still, but if I got up to move around, I hurt. It almost felt as if I were constipated, but I wasn't.
It's because your ovaries are continuing to grow even though you have stopped stimulation, the hormones are still in your system. It's not unbearable, but it is uncomfortable. Yes, I did get a BFP, actually we're pregnant with twins. We just saw/heard the heartbeat
thanks soo much for the feed back. you had discomfort form what? BFP or something else? also if you dont mind me asking how did the ivf retrieval and transfer go? was it successful? any feedback would be appreciated as this is my first one. thanks and good luck to you!
I also did Lupron, gonal F and menoupur. When I started taking the menopur is when I really started noticing a difference. So yes to your question. it is normal and mine got better after the egg retrieval then about 8days post transfer it got really bad again, worse than before the egg retrieval. Make sure you drink plenty of water or gatorade. That did seem to help. Good luck to you!
i had similar problems with pain in ovaries. still do and am over 5 weeks . The nurse said it would get better in a few weeks. just due to fluid still in the follies or something. Anyway, just wanted to add my expereince to LOL.
