follicles
I am on day 10th of my ivf cicle.i have 2 follicles on the right that are 18 and 23 mm and 2 on the left that are 12mm.
so far not going too good and doctor decided to give me on more day on 300 follistim.I am worried that i will loose the big one .what to do ?what is th max size that the follicle is still ok or ivf.

in addition to the size of the follicles, your estrogen level is also looked at. do you know your estrogen level? your doc probably wants to give the 2 follicles on the left ovary more time to get bigger and hopefully not loose the largest one. worse case scenario, you loose the largest one but are able to retrieve the other two on the left. when the follicle is too small, they may not able to retrieve it. again, it is a combination of your estrogen level and the size of the follicle.
