follipian tubes

Im 33 yrs old i we planning for the baby but i went for check up and my Dr find out that i only have one follipian tube working the other one is blockedm,my question is do i still have chances to get pregnent with one follipian tube please help

Hey Cindy

Sorry to hear about your tube not working. But there is hope  I have no tubes just a great womb and amazing ovaries. You really don't need them if you are trying to have a baby. IVF is an option that has a high success rate. Ask your doctor about this option. I am on my second cycle and tomorrow is the end of my 2ww so i will know if I am pregnant or not.
So , don't give up there is hope!!!

Yes you can , even wit one type and if tht doesn't work there is alway ivf. As am typing am sitting waiting to go in for retrieval lol so scared , but best if luck!!

Yes, you can still conceive and carry healthy pregnacies. My very first pregnancy was an ectopic and my right fallopian tube ruptured but I was able to naturally conceive and carry three healthy pregnancies afterwards. Are they planning on leaving your blocked tube there the way it is? I would ask your doctor about this because of the risk of ectopic pregnancies with that tube before TTC.  All the best!
