getting pregnate

I was wondering if i could get pregnate...I have not had a period in over 3 years-its not the first time that its gone on this long, and don't know if i ovulate.  I did go to the doctor about it about 6 years ago, and he said i have (secondary) amnorreah-which just mean absence of periods (after having them normally-i started when i was 12)...i have them if i'm on birth control though...all my blood work came out ok, all the horomone levels were good, but I just wanted to know if it is possible-I've been trying for almost 2 years now...does anyone know of anyone who had this problem and still got pregnate without going through medical treatment?

im not sure i though it you did not have a period you did not ovulate
as the egg needs to be relesed but dont quote me on that good luck xx
