Has your RE talked about switching you off of the clomid and onto a different drug such as femara and possibly adding injectables with that? those can help your lining and make you produce more eggies to give you a better chance?  GOOD LUCK! i hope AF doens't show! :  )

Thanks for the coments ladies..  Yes Helen 72 I am seeing a RE.  I was first on clomid 50mg then after the hormone test they doubled it so it was at 100 then after a couple of months they increased it again so I was taking 150mg then they prescribed me metformin just for the side effects.. ive been doing IUI's and trigger shots for the last 6 months.. I dont think im pregnant this month af should show in two more days and after that Im going to have the dr do another exploritory and dye test. Every month ive went in for monitoring everything has been perfect  so there must be something else going on.. I pray to god they find the problem and hopefully its something they can fix...  keeping my fingers crossed.. Good luck girls and thanks again :)

Hello, sorry to hear about your difficulties.. this whole ttc thing is very difficult!... i agree with helen and heather.. with the femara and the fact that clomid shouldnt' be used that long... Are you seeing a fertility doctor?? they do a lot more monitoring than an obgyn and its best when your on clomd or ovulation drugs to be getting regular bloodwork and ultrasounds throughout the cycle.. also most RE's put people with low progesterone on supplements after ovulation (most obgyn's tend to believe you dont' need to get on it till after you get a positve preg test.. but i like the idea of it after ovulation better myself!) good luck!

Hi Shandris! How low was your progesterone? An did they increase the dose after they told you it was low? I agree with Helen, though, if you've been on clomid for nine months, it's probably time to try something else. If you're not quite ready for injectibles, you could ask to try Femara for a month or two. Some women respond better to Femara than clomid, and it has less side effects. I'm currently on my first month on Femara and have not had any side effects at all.

Take care!

You should not be taking clomid for more than 3-6 months!  It can thin your lining and  is not effective if you take it past 6 months.  If your progesterone was low on clomid that means you may not be ovulating.  Are you seeing an RE?  They are more effective than ob/gyn's and will monitor your more closely.  Also they may recommend injectables (FSH & LH combination drugs) that may work better for you.

Good luck!
