hcg injection and false blood test?

i know that when you get  a hcg injection, it stays in your system for about 10-14 days so if you do a hpt too soon, it might be a false positive. what if in two weeks, i do a blood test. will that be positive too? my injection was two nights ago. when is the earliest i can do a blood test to find out?

I would guess that at 2 weeks it would be out of your system, but then again, it depends on the amount of hcg that was given to you.
